The last show on New Year’s Eve will begin at 11:45PM, counting down to 2021. Make sure to also catch the spectacular three minute animated light sequence that plays every 15 minutes. Projecting from the Promontory, the display has been illuminating the Marina Bay skyline from 8PM – 10:30PM every night in December. Head down to the bay to catch Shine a Light - a light show featuring 60 beams of light that form the notches of a clock face. Marina Bay may not have fireworks this year but its sky will definitely be lit, still. This year’s “socially-distanced” edition will take place at 11 heartland locations all around Singapore instead of the usual Marina Bay. Check these events out for the best ways to put a lid on this shitty year: 1) NYE Fireworks in the HeartlandsĬOVID might’ve ruined a lot of things this 2020, but the iconic New Year’s Eve fireworks won’t be one of them.
